The Mike White Invitational was established by former Bull Rider, and avid Team Roper Mike White.  The dream to help others especially children faced with life changing diversities started with one visit to a childrens hospital in Memphis, TN.   Where a young boy wanted to meet the Bull Rider.  With plans of stopping by and spending a little time, turned into all afternoon playing bucking bulls on his hospital bed.  The children on that floor had decorated the halls and dressed up as cowboys waiting on the visit from Mike.  As time has passed Mike feels that he didn't relize it then, but it would eventually be a calling for him.  I have been very blessed in my life with a healthy family.  For 2018 proceeds from the event will go to Ropin Dreams.  Ropin Dreams is also a non-profit orhanization that puts smiles on faces of children faced with life changing illnesses and injuries.
